Marketplace veteran Serge Verdoux brings more than a decade of experience to the rapidly growing creative services marketplace for entrepreneurs

NEW YORK, NY November 10, 2016 -- Fiverr, the world's largest marketplace for creative and digital services for entrepreneurs and small businesses, today announced it has hired Serge Verdoux as its new vice president of business development. Verdoux joins Fiverr on the heels of the recent San Francisco office opening and major personnel investments in the company's digital and grassroots community teams.

"Fiverr caters to everyone from the individual entrepreneur to the enterprise company, enabling those on both sides of our marketplace to achieve their goals," said Fiverr CEO Micha Kaufman. "Adding someone with Serge's background, leadership and expertise promises to create all kinds of new opportunities for our rapidly growing community to take their next big step. We're excited to have him on board."

Verdoux brings more than 12 years of business development and growth innovation experience to Fiverr. He most recently worked at Audible, an Amazon subsidiary, where he was the vice president and head of business development and innovation. It was there that he led his team to strategic global partnerships and launched the Audible Innovation Lab and Enterprise offering. Prior to Audible, Verdoux held positions at Expedia and American Express, focusing on strategic growth and customer acquisition.

"Fiverr has set out to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals, and I could not be more proud to be a part of the team turning that dream into a reality," said Verdoux. "Fiverr's growth has been phenomenal and I look forward to expanding the company's opportunities even further."

Verdoux will be responsible for accelerating Fiverr's tremendous growth through partnerships, corporate development and strategic initiatives. Verdoux will be based in the company's U.S. headquarters in New York City.
