With over 15 years of public/parochial teaching experience, I'm a permanently certified NYS Teacher 7-12 who taught an after-school SAT course for over 10 years, including 1-on-1 private tutoring. I will prepare students to meet their full potential on the SAT.
I created my customized curriculum using the Official College Board SAT Study Guide & website and Barron's Digital SAT Study Guide & website. I can tutor for the Paper or Digital SAT. My self-designed course includes 14 detailed units, including examples, exercises, practice tests, and resources. For each lesson, students will receive my Unit Curriulum and other relevant resources. Although I followed the SAT Study Guide, my curriculum maximizes explicitly each student's learning ability and potential.
I don't believe in tricks "to beat the test;" instead, I review the SAT content, logic, formats, and specific skills. I cover test anxiety, time management, and evidence-based test strategies.
Whether confident or hesitant about the SAT, I can help you through my diverse experience and customized curriculum.

FAQ
When will you know more about the Digital SAT?
Although the College Board has administered the Digital SAT for international students since January 2023, the American SAT will not be digital until March 2024. Test dates and scoring details are not confirmed. As we get closer to 2024, I will update my curricula and this gig.
How can you possibly help prepare students for the Digital SAT if the College Board has not confirmed dates and scoring details?
Barron's Test Prep is a trusted educational company that I have used for years. Their Digital SAT Study Guide Premium 2024 is reliable. The content of the SAT is the same with a few minor exceptions--and no essay! Yay! The College Board has practice tests and other prep online for the Digital SAT.
Why bother with the Paper SAT?
Many American students have taken the Paper PSAT; thus, common sense and the College Board tell these students to take the Paper SAT. Also, seniors can take the Paper SAT and have these scores sent to colleges before 2024. Finally, why not take both tests if you have the time?
Do you tutor international students for the Digital SAT?
Absolutely! I am very familiar with the Digital SAT and its content, so I welcome any international students! I have worked with many students whose Native Language is not English. Additionally, I am fluent in British, Australian, and New Zealand English.
You mention the ACT--can your help me prep for the ACT?
Yes, the Paper SAT and ACT are very similar in content. As soon as I complete the Painless SAT Preparation, I will create an individual course for the ACT. However, I will duplicate a lot of my current SAT prep for the ACT.
