Their tasks include idea generation with clients, writing the actual copy, revising and overseeing production that includes other elements. Copywriters are often put into a unique position when writing. They need to insert personality to catch the attention of their audience and be relatable, yet persuasive at the same time.
Copywriters must have a good command of the language they’re writing in, be creative, have an eye for detail, be able to work under pressure, be wise to the latest news and trends in the field, have an idea of how sales and human psychology works, and preferably, a portfolio of past work as a copywriter that shows relevant experience beneficial to the businesses seeking them out.
