I've worked at the Director and VP level at global StartUps such as Fresha & Quandoo, as well as American Express & Wells Fargo. I also had a cash exit for 8 figures in 2017.
I now sit as an Adviser and Non-Exec Director at multiple StartUps at various stages of growth where I help them to problem solve, grow quickly and gain funding.
I'm an entrepreneur myself, have pitched countless Angel Investors & Venture Capitalists, secured funding and helped others to do the same.
If you are lucky enough to secure a meeting with a potential investor then you know you are unlikely to get a second chance. This meeting matters and you need to be prepared.
Over Zoom you will pitch me your StartUp idea, vision and plan and I will pull it apart (in a nice way!) and give you actionable improvements to make.
The improvements will be related to both what is written in your pitch deck, and how you are delivering it verbally on the call.
There is a phrase: 'There is no fun in funding'. This is because gaining funding is hard and most people will fail at it. Sometimes this is because the idea is flawed, but sometimes it's just because you're not prepared.

What happens if I (the buyer) do not turn up for the zoom call I (the buyer) scheduled?
I will be on the call for the duration and the gig will be delivered after the call time you have scheduled has concluded regardless of whether you show up or not. Similar to a hotel reservation, you are paying for a period of time, if you choose not to use the hotel room that is your decision.
Will it take 14 days to meet?
No! This is just to give you flexibility. I'm usually available in 24-48 hours. Just send me a message and I'll send you a link to my diary to schedule some time.
Why are you on Fiverr?
I genuinely love the world of startups and I like to help fellow entrepreneurs hit their goals. I'm also tired of the sharks with no tangible experience making ridiculous promises regarding pitch decks, business plans and funding.
I don't have a pitch deck, can we still discuss my idea?
Absolutely! It's often best to have this call before you even start writing your pitch deck so you know what you need to include.
Will you review my pitch deck before we meet?
Yes! Just submit it in the requirements and I'll review it and be prepared by the time we meet. Hearing you pitch it though will be key.
How long should my pitch be?
The rough rule of thumb is 10 slides and you should be able to get through it in 20 minutes. Investors don't and won't give you hours. You need to make the time count!
Will you write, or rewrite my pitch deck for me?
I can and do write pitch decks for startups, send me a message to discuss this.

Are you familiar with my space?
The short answer is yes, most likely. That's because I've worked with hundreds of startups at various stages. If I'm not, then it's your responsibility to get me familiar with the opportunity during the meeting. Investors don't know everything about everything - you have to educate them!
