I will convert your video to a VHS cassette, capture it back and send it back with a real, high-quality VHS effect. Captures are always 720p (optimised for YouTube so that smooth fps can be loaded).
If you have a single video under or equal to 1 minute, tell me that before ordering to get 50% off!
You can set up:
- Recording speed
- Sound quality
- Video quality (packages)
- Generation loss (1 generation per 1 extra bought)

If your video has FPS lower or equal to 30, it will be doubled during the conversion.

I'm a Polish VHS archivist, I'm running a YouTube channel where I post my findings. I always wanted to make use of my skills in capturing analog video into a digital form, since artificial filters are often an untrustworthy representation of the analog aesthetic. I work with VHS cassettes since at least 2014.
FAQ
What does Recording speed affect?
Three options, referred to as Short Play (SP), Long Play (LP) and Extended Play (EP), affect the overall quality of video and non-Hi-Fi audio. LP is 2x, and EP is 3x slower than SP. Also, interference bars are bigger and stay longer on screen in LP and EP.
What is Hi-Fi?
Hi-Fi sound in VCRs is a higher quality sound recorded along with the video. It reaches more frequencies than the standard audio recording, however, comes with a downside of buzzing sound when the tape is damaged, and sometimes turns off briefly.
What's the difference between Normal, Damaged and Destroyed quality?
Normal = almost zero noise and auto tracking. Damaged = some degradation can be seen, tracking is manually changed Destroyed = the picture is jumping, massive amounts of noise, tracking is manually changed
What is generation loss?
Generation loss happens when you copy a tape onto another tape. You can make this yourself if you have 2 VCRs plugged into each other. Each copy loses some quality. At generation 12 and beyond the picture loses all color and is unstable.
