We had a crashed Galera cluster with only 1 out of 6 nodes up, unable to bring back the other ones, and our local Galera expert... couldn't be reached. We went on Fiverr, searched "Galera" and Mughees Ahmed responded right away. We chatted for a few minutes to fill in the details and put him in context. We jumped on a call, and I kid you not, after I tried 2 hours to restore the cluster (I have experience), Mughees had the 2nd node syncing to the only remaining node in less than what 3 minutes? It might have been 2. He knew what he was doing, and he was doing it FAST. 25 minutes later, we have 2 nodes up, and he setup one (the original sole survivor we has switched traffic to) to be the live, bringing everything back up,and the new one, and the new node as the donor. Within the 1 hours call, we were back to 3 out of 6 nodes, and then, he helped us fix 2 of the other 3 nodes which were back up soon after. The last one... well, the server was down, one of the causes of the problems, but the teachings from Mughees Ahmed made it so that once the server was back the next morning (without any data), we added it, synched it, and we are back to full! Mughees Ahmed was a life saver...
