I had this freelancer proofread a 2000-word German file. He then sent me the file telling me he corrected it, but without highlighting the words he corrected. I later turned to another native German-speaking freelancer to redo the proofreading and he corrected dozens of words for me. It seems he didn't even read the words! Very bad service!

Poorly done job. After a review it turned out some sentences did not make sense, but were left unedited while other edits were inappropriate or redundant. You can achieve the same level of quality for your German text by using an AI grammar check - not what I was looking for. Not worth the money or the time spent, delivery was late.
