How to Refer Your Friends

To access the Referral Program page, click on your profile picture in the menu and select Refer a Friend from the menu, or click Invite a Friend in the footer. On the program page, you can refer friends by adding their email addresses, copying a link to share on your own, or posting on your choice of social networks.

The term “Referral” is used for any of your friends who join Fiverr.com through your referral link. The term “Referrer” is used for the Fiverr user who refers friends using the Referral Program.

The Referral Program allows you to share the referral link with your connections via email and social channels. You agree to use the Referral Program only with personal friends and not publish a referral, or cause it to be published or distributed, on or via methods, platforms, and media where you have no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the readers or recipients are not your personal friends (such as coupon websites, Reddit, etc.). You will not create, publish, generate or solicit, under any circumstances, any bulk electronic mail messages (also known as “SPAM”).

You also agree to comply with all applicable laws, guidelines, and regulations, including but not limited to regulations regarding electronic messaging and anti-spam and privacy laws.

If you use the referral system to invite a friend through email, they will receive an email letting them know that you referred them, along with an invitation to join Fiverr.com. Emails will only be sent to your friends who are not signed up to Fiverr. You are required to obtain consent from your Referrals prior to referring them.

The original language of these Terms and Conditions is English. Fiverr makes this translation available for convenience only. In case of conflicts between the original English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.

1. Eligible users

This Referral Program is open to registered Fiverr users only, for a limited time, and we may withdraw or suspend this Referral Program (in whole or in part) at any time. The requirements and incentives are also subject to change at any time.

2. Earning, receiving, and redeeming Fiverr Credits

Each of your Referrals will get a 10% discount to use on their first order purchase on Fiverr (for a maximum of $100). Such discount may not be used or combined with any other promotion or coupon. For Milestone orders, the discount will apply to the first milestone only.

The term “Qualifying Purchase” is defined as a successfully delivered and completed Gig purchased by the Referral. The Qualifying Purchase must be made with an external payment method (i.e. not with Fiverr Credits).

As the Referrer, you will receive 10% of your Referral's first Qualifying Purchase in Fiverr Credits (for a maximum of $100 per Qualifying Purchase) to be used on your next order purchase. In total, you can earn up to $500 in Fiverr Credits. See our general Payment Terms for more details about Fiverr Credits. Fiverr Credits will be made available to the Referrer following a clearance period of up to 14 days after the Referral's first Qualifying Purchase and are valid for 3 months

3. Referrals referred by multiple users (Referrers)

If your Referral was also referred by another user (Referrer), you will earn Fiverr Credits only if the Referral joins Fiverr and makes their first Qualifying Purchase through your referral link. If your Referral uses another user's referral link to join, you will not receive the Fiverr Credits.

4. If you've been invited to Fiverr as a Referral

When you complete your first Qualifying Purchase, your Referrer will receive Fiverr Credits in their Fiverr balance and will be notified that the credit is due to a Qualifying Purchase from one of their Referrals. We will not share details about your purchase with the Referrer.

5. Important disclaimers

We reserve the right to suspend your account and remove any granted Fiverr Credits should we notice any activity by the Referrer and/or Referral that is determined to be contrary to the Referral Program terms and conditions, the Fiverr Terms of Service, or our Community Standards. We retain the right to investigate either party’s participation in the Referral Program for any fraudulent activity and take any measures to end their activity in the program and/or on Fiverr. We reserve the right to amend or suspend this Referral Program at any time without notice.
