Alejandro is the real deal! I scheduled a lesson but I stayed up late the previous night and Alejandro showed me how to warm up my voice when it feels like the vocal cords are locked up. Alejandro was patient and helped me properly loosen up the vocal cords which aloud me to hit the notes I had been hitting previously! This lesson showed a lot of his patience with the people he is teaching, not once did he seem frustrated or annoyed even though I wasn’t as rock solid as I was! This guy is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about vocals!

I'm Alejandro (Alex), and I've been a singer for more than 30 years -working and playing alongside some of the greats in the rock, pop, and metal world-, and a vocal coach for the last 15+ years -helping other singers do what they love: learn to use their voice, extending their range, belting, using vocal effects (distortion, compression, breathiness, etc), giving advice on recording, creating cool vocal harmonies, performance... you name it.
I have walked the walk, from the smallest venues to the huge stadiums, and I know firsthand what it's like to be lost and overwhelmed, and to be confident in what you do... I really hope I can help you feel the latter, because it's awesome!

FAQ
What platform do you use for the lessons?
I find that Zoom tends to work the best, but I can also use Skype, Google Meet, and pretty much any other popular video call application. So, if you have another suggestion, please let me know and we can probably use that.
Do you teach distortion/raspiness?
Yes. In fact, it's one of my specialties. I can use and teach many different distortions used by some of the greatest singers, and also provide stylistic advice on how to use them, and why that would make sense.
