Abusina

For context I sent Abusina an 80K word fiction novel manuscript that he went through in record time which was highly impressive. Overall, I'm really happy with the service. However, it still had quite a few errors, at times he made some changes that were not correct or were unnecessary (but those were easy to spot so easily fixable by myself, no problem), but generally there were very great catches that I never would've noticed myself or figured out on my own and those edits were extremely valuable and what I was looking for from a proofreader. When I pointed out some of the basic errors he made, he was very receptive and went back to review the manuscript a second time and make additional edits, and he took the time to answer some specific questions I had about some sentences which helped a lot. So the pros (delivery time, price, having a diligent second pair of eyes to review the writing and catch errors) are genuinely great, yet I personally, for the purposes of a fiction novel that needs to be publish-ready, would've needed a more idiomatic approach and a more careful understanding of the content as that would've avoided some errors when proofing some sentences. But again, it's 80K words of literary writing and stylistic freedom and I don't think it's his area of expertise. Overall, I recommend! Maybe more for less literary texts though. But I'm happy with his work :)

This is my first time working with Abusina. He did an excellent job at proofreading my final 23,000-word nonfiction book. He caught a lot of little details and errors that I had missed throughout the document. I will definitely be back with the next book in the series.

There is some excellent editing with our transcript. Prompt and easy to follow files provided. In a couple of places the context of the book was missed with the edited corrections.

Abusina is a joy to work with. The work he produced is quite helpful to me and it was worth every cent he charged. While I do not think that work should supersede personal matters, Abusina delivered this project through a trying time. His work is greatly appreciated, thorough, and, above all, professional. I highly recommend him.

I wish that the full package deal (which had a critique and style sheet was provided, however, for the price it was a good deal.
